Enrol into the four-year doctoral study programme Electronics and Information Technologies, which aims to generate top research and development specialists, who have deep knowledge of principles and techniques used in wired / wireless communication networks and also in related areas including cyber-security, advanced data / signal processing, and design of embedded electronics. When you graduate, you will be able to efficiently apply the gathered knowledge for the design of own and prospective solutions. Benefiting from that, you can choose a follow-up carrier in R&D units of top ICT enterprises as well as in academia as a postdoc researcher.
The DPA-EIT study programme can be studied also as double-degree programme in cooperation with Tampere University (TAU), Finland. Through that, students can get a unique opportunity to spend 12 months (in minimum) during whole doctoral studies at the university in Tampere. Moreover, at the end, when students pass the study requirements and defend the doctoral thesis (coordinated jointly by supervisors from BUT and TAU), they can benefit from gaining two Ph.D. degree diplomas (one from BUT and second from TAU).
