Attention: The first students can start returning to schools on Wednesday
The Ministry of Education has announced that starting from Wednesday, November 25, 2020, there will be a gradual easing of measures in the area of higher education. Specifically, the Government of the Czech Republic enabled the return of final year students (bachelor's and follow-up master's studies) to full-time laboratory, experimental or artistic studies in groups of up to 20 people.
Furthermore, full-time study for doctoral students is allowed and students may also participate in compulsory internships at external entities. It is also possible for all students to take part in exams, but only in groups of up to 10 people. The government also allows individual consultations or individual visits to libraries for the purpose of borrowing or returning literature. As for the accommodation in BUT halls of residence, this is possible only for those students who can have full-time studies.
There is still a general obligation to wear masks and other respiratory protective equipment everywhere inside the buildings, with the exception of employees working more than 2 meters from their colleague. Where possible, the home office should continue to be applied as much as possible.
Follow information from your faculties and institutions.
