Individual faculties and departments decide on full-time attendance at classes
Starting from December 7, 2020, the new Government measures will enable full-time studies for the first-year students with the participation of a maximum of 20 students. For the students of other years, only laboratory/experimental/art classes can take place with the participation of a maximum of 20 students. The possibility of individual consultations still applies. However, most of the teaching at the Brno University of Technology will be completed by distance learning by the end of this year. Therefore, follow the information of your faculty or department, which will inform their students about the subjects they will implement by the students’ personal presence this year. E.g. The Faculty of Chemistry or the Faculty of Fine Arts have a higher share of laboratory or art teaching, while the Faculty of Business and Administration or the Faculty of Information Technology plan to complete this year by distance learning. Due to the diverse focus of the faculties of the Brno University of Technology, we recommend following the websites of the faculties or departments for more information.
As for the accommodation in BUT Halls of Residence, this is only possible for students who can attend classes in person! Other students who cannot attend full-time studies are still prohibited from staying in if they have another residence in the Czech Republic.
