Technion – Israel Institute of Technology is an eminent technical university with approx. thirteen thousand students. In QS Universities ranking list of 2020, Technion held the 179th place in the world in Engineering and Technology category and among its employees are several Nobel prize winners. Israel itself is among the leading countries in the world in the field of research and development of the new technologies ensuring cybernetic security. At the same time, it is very active in the development of educational tools, especially in the so-called Cyber Arenas now organised also at our faculty.
The agreement was signed by the universities’ representatives in January 2021 during the visit of Czech delegation in Israel with a significant contribution of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Israel and with the support of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic. The contact person is associate professor Hajný from FEEC.
The first international exchanges for the period 2020-2023 financed by Erasmus+ programme will take place as soon as the pandemic restrictions are loosened.
BUT entered into an agreement with Israeli Technion regarding co-operation in teaching of cybernetic and information security
Students and employees of BUT, specifically Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication and Faculty of Information Technology, can now newly make use of student and staff exchange programme in the field of cybernetic and information security, thank to which they can visit Israeli Technion and its Computer Science Department.Technion – Israel Institute of Technology is an eminent technical university with approx. thirteen thousand students.
