At the end of October, the Conference of ČSRES - Czech Association of Regulated Electricity Companies was held in Nové Město na Moravě. At this event, scientists from our Department of Telecommunications conducted an exercise focused on cyber security in critical electricity infrastructure.
Not only specialists in the field of electricity in the Czech Republic, such as EG.D, ČEZ, PRE distribuce, but also experts from the National Cyber and Information Security Agency and from the Ministry of Defence had a unique opportunity to experience a simulated attack on critical infrastructure. The second day of the conference was devoted to possible solutions to the situation and the presentation of existing activities in the field of research, education and training of cybersecurity experts.
