At Brno University of Technology, stalls will be set up in several locations. Three stalls will be located on the campus Pod Palackého vrchem, specifically near the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, the Faculty of Business and Management, and the final stop of tram no. 12. Another stall will be in front of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Björnson Park near the Picnic Box. Additionally, a mobile unit will visit several locations throughout the day, including the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (7:30 AM), the Faculty of Information Technology (10:00 AM), the Faculty of Architecture (11:00 AM), and the Rectorate (Gorkého at 12:00 PM, Antonínská at 12:30 PM).
The traditional fundraiser will take place throughout the day, and people can contribute not only via collection boxes but also on the website or by donating to the charity account 246641158/0600. Last year, more than 2.5 million CZK was raised, with nearly 95,000 CZK contributed by BUT.
Hospice Cake is a traditional fundraiser supporting palliative care, organized annually by the Brno Diocesan Charity. The aim of the event is to raise public awareness about the role of hospices and to support charitable care for the terminally ill. Donations are an important source of funding for the Charity to purchase new equipment, medications, and medical supplies.
More details can also be found in the event on social media.
We would like to thank everyone in advance who decides to buy a pie and support hospice care!
