On Saturday, 14 December, the BUT Junior University for Children took place at the FEC of the BUT, offering a unique technical experience to children and their parents. The event was held in two blocks, morning and afternoon, with 50 children attending each. The programme included a visit to the fun science laboratory, the Electriarium, where children tried out various interactive experiments, and a lecture by the YSpace student group, which focused on the design of satellites. After these activities, the children were divided into five groups where they could choose a specific topic for hands-on experiments. Meanwhile, parents visited laboratories focused on research and technology related to the space industry. The whole day was full of new insights and inspiring experiences that left a strong impression on both young and old participants and their guides.
