A student from FEEC won the first prize of the EY CYBER SECURITY TROPHY competition
Willi Lazarov, a student of the Master's degree programme Information Security from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, won the first place in the EY Cyber Security Trophy in the EY ESO Cyber Security Future Promise category for his contribution in the field of cyber security. In addition to first place, he has also received other awards for his research and teaching activities in the competition. At the same time, he is employed at the Institute of Telecommunications, FEEC BUT on a number of R&D projects in the field of cyber security.
The aim of the EY Cyber Security Trophy is to recognise companies, professionals and future talents working in the field of information and cyber security and ethical hacking in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Read more about the competition here.
