Compared to conventional point instruments, this system is able to measure brightness at 21 million points, all within a few seconds. Moreover, the instrument is comparable in its parameters to expensive professional instruments designed for luminance analysis, which makes it unparalleled in the world.
Congratulations.
The Golden Amper goes to the Department of Electrical Power Engineering
The Golden Ampere Award and the award for one of the most beneficial exhibits at the AMPER 2019 fair went to scientists from the Light Laboratory of the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering (UEEN) yesterday. They received the award for the LDA Brightness Analyser - LumiDISP, a measuring instrument based on a digital camera with special evaluation software that is capable of measuring brightness and its distribution in any space. This is mainly used to assess visual load and lighting quality.Compared to conventional point instruments, this system is able to measure brightness at 21 million points, all within a few seconds. Moreover, the instrument is comparable in its parameters to expensive professional instruments designed for luminance analysis, which makes it unparalleled in the world.
Congratulations.
