The soldering station from FEKT includes a camera system with an LCD display for optical reassembly of the holes in the template, a temperature control controller or vacuum pumps for mounting the housing and its subsequent reassembly. The Amper trade fair is being held this year in three halls after a covid break and offers a presentation of 570 exhibitors from 27 countries. The stand of FEKT BUT can be found in Hall V under number 2.05.

Soldering station from the Institute of Microelectronics won the Golden Amper
A soldering station with a heated reballing template was one of five award-winning exhibits at the Amper trade fair. The HSR-01 soldering station was presented at the stand of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies of BUT by its co-author Alexandr Otáhal, head of the working group from the Institute of Microelectronics. "The innovation is the use of the solder ball mounting templates also as a heating element to ensure the reflow process without the need to manipulate the housing. The main advantages are a lower thermal load for the soldered electronic housing and the possibility of creating a more reliable solder joint, as is the case with the much more expensive laser soldering method," the competition organisers said in their justification.Alexander Otáhal with the Golden Amper award for his soldering station | Author.
