H19 evaluation results support our R&D activities
In October 2019 (H19) we nominated 14 R&D results within the Module 1 - Quality of Selected Results, that is part of annual evolution of research organizations, within the Methodology17+, Methodology for Evaluating Research Organisations and Research, Development and Innovation Purpose-tied Aid Programmes.
We succeeded in independent evaluation within the Module 1, being above the average score with 2.93. The Faculty thanks to all researchers, who contribute to the success and recognition of our R&D activities.
The overview of the evaluated results nominated either in the category Contribution to knowledge (CK) or Social relevance (SR) and their grades is in the table below.

Briefly about the Module 1 evaluation
The research initiations annually select a set of R&D results that already have the impact to society, or have high potential to reach such impact soon. After preparing a self-evaluation report justifying the impact of our R&D results, they are subsequently assessed by an expert panel within the review procedure, processed by the Office of the Government. The nominated results are evaluated either in the category Contribution to knowledge or Social relevance.
Results nominated in the category Contribution to knowledge are rather results of basic research that are further investigated in term of possible implementation in applied research oriented research. Results nominated in the category Social relevance are expected to have already society-economic impact.
For both categories, a 5 level qualitative grading is defined. For Contribution to knowledge the grades are world-leading, excellent, internationally recognized, nationally recognized, and inadequate. For Social relevance the grades are world-leading, excellent, very good, average, and below average.
