The programme of the visit started at the Dean's Office of the faculty, where the guests were welcomed and the faculty was introduced by Vice-Dean Stanislav Klusáček. Then the delegation moved to the Department of Microelectronics under the leadership of Jiří Háze and then to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, where the tour was arranged by Jiří Libich. After a break for lunch, the visit continued with a tour of the Very High Voltage Laboratory with Michal Krbal, followed by the Short Circuit Room with Jiří Valenta and the Inverter Compliance Verification Laboratory with Martin Vojtek. The excursion ended at the Department of Telecommunications, where the group was guided by Petr Číka.
The second visit from UAS TU Wien took the form of a weekend course on 22-23 March 2025. It was a joint Embedded Systems course attended by a total of 30 students - 18 from UAS TU Wien and 12 from FEEC BUT. The course was led by Professor Thomas Fischer and ran on Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00.
This intensive course dealt with the development and implementation of sophisticated software projects based on Embedded Systems and corresponding communication modules. Students had the opportunity to learn how to implement Embedded Systems communication modules (Bluetooth, WiFi, ZigBee, Ethernet, USB, etc.), use existing communication module stacks and software libraries, record and analyze communication protocols, and implement tasks based on either standalone firmware or pre-configured embedded operating systems such as Embedded Linux.

The third visit from Vienna took place on Friday 28 March 2025, with 24 students and 6 lecturers.
The program was divided into three parts, during which the delegation first visited the Department of Microelectronics under the guidance of Jiří Háze, then continued the excursion at the Department of Control and Instrumentation with Stanislav Pikula and finally the visit was concluded at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, where the guests were accompanied by Marina Filipenská and Martin Mézl.
“We believe that this visit will strengthen our mutual cooperation and contribute to greater mobility of students and academic staff between our institutions,” said Vice Dean Stanislav Klusáček.
During all three visits, students from Vienna expressed interest in study stays at the FEEC BUT. These events significantly contributed to deepening international cooperation between the two institutions and to informing about the study and research opportunities offered by FEKT BUT to foreign students.
