From Brno to South Korea: Our students gain experience at KINGS University
Students in the Master's programme in Nuclear Energy have the opportunity to study in South Korea. Two first year students - Kateřina Koudelková and David Mareček - are now taking advantage of this unique opportunity. And how do they evaluate their stay?

Experiences directly from students
Katka: "Greetings from the 4th week of my study stay at KINGS in South Korea. As part of the Nuclear Power Engineering program at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication at BUT, we have the opportunity to spend a semester here, learning right near the nuclear power plants (there are 10 reactors located around the school) and at the same time getting to know the unique Korean culture. I really like it here."

David: "My study stay at KINGS University in South Korea so far has been very positive. We arrived in Korea a week before the start of classes, so we had enough time to acclimatise, get to know the school and our classmates, and take a few trips around the area.
The entire campus is relatively new and is fully equipped with everything a student needs (cafeteria, gym, store, kitchen, karaoke room, music room, library, and fields for various sports). Anyway, school should be all about studying. As exchange students we were given the freedom to choose the subjects we want to study. Each of these subjects is taught by an expert in the field with a number of successes in real practice. The teaching is manageable and only builds on the undergraduate knowledge that I personally gained by studying Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at BUT.
Overall, I can only recommend a trip to KINGS, because here you will have a lot of new experiences, learn many new things from top experts and meet a lot of nice people."
