The Chief Financial Officer is mainly responsible for the following areas:
- Fulfilling the implementation of the Faculty's strategic plan and internal Faculty regulations and standards related to dislocation and construction activities,
- the management and analysis of the Faculty's economy, in cooperation with the Dean, budget negotiations at the University level and the management of the Faculty economic, financial and technical operations,
- providing to the Faculty management and the Academic Senate qualified inputs on economic matters to facilitate informed decision-making,
- defining and implementing the Faculty development concept in the area of capital construction, renovation and repairs,
- efficient allocation and effective use of the Faculty finances, continuous monitoring and correction of the use of the Faculty funds,
- managing and directing the economic activities of the Faculty with the aim of economic benefit for the Faculty,
- methodological, coordinating and supervisory activities related to the purchase of investment funds at the Faculty level,
- optimal use of the University immovable property by the Faculty,
- preparation of internal documents, standards and regulations ensuring the economic operation of the Faculty, dislocation, maintenance and construction activities,
- complete responsibility for the operability, operation and maintenance of the Faculty computer network for the operation of the information system in educational and creative activities and the management of the Faculty economic agendas, responsibility for the validity of the data in the databases in which data on the Faculty staff are held and, as appropriate, for the protection of this data,
- managing the activities of the Dean's office and the administration of the Faculty premises and being responsible for their smooth operation,
- through the secretaries of the Faculty departments, providing the necessary service to these departments,
- signing applicable documents and proofs,
- representing the faculty at the meetings with the Bursar and in negotiations with the departments of the Rector's Office on issues related to the management of the Faculty,
- supervision of the relevant Faculty internal regulations and proposals for their updating,
- monitoring and evaluating compliance with the applicable legal norms, internal regulations, directives and instructions of the Faculty and the University,
- preparation of the annual report on the economy management of the Faculty,
- cooperation at the University level, in particular with the Bursar and other departments of the Rector's Office.
