ERASMUS+ mobility study stay 25/26 & internship 24/25
Call for applications for mobility abroad under the ERASMUS+ mobility programme
at FEEC is taking place on
Tuesday 28 January 2025 at 8:30 a.m.
in meeting room 2.35 of the Dean's Office of the FEEC, Technická 10 in Brno.
Interested students should fill in the application form in Studis by 22 January 2025.
Selection criteria:
- academic record, the obligation to complete compulsory and compulsory optional subjects from previous semesters
- language skills (in the application form, please indicate the subjects/exams/certificate passed + motivation letter in AJ)
- motivation for the trip
- readiness for the trip - statement from the host institution (TA/email) / selected courses with equivalents in the pre-filled Study Abroad Application Form
- participation in the associations associated with BUT is an advantage
Nomination conditions:
- a motivation letter in English containing the reasons for requesting the traineeship in at least 250 words
- submission of a TA confirmed by the company or documented communication with the company/company indicating that the student will be allowed to participate in the internship attached as an annex to the application form
- the duration of the internship must be at least 60 days, the maximum duration is 360 days (90 days, more as a zero-grant student), for short-term mobility of PhD students 5-30 days
- the subject matter of the enterprise is identical or closely related to the student's field of study at the sending institution
- inter-institutional agreement with the partner university is required for international placements
- the student must enrol in the Learning Agreement before departure for the study stay in courses worth a minimum of 18 credits per semester. If the student will be working on a bachelor's or master's thesis during the study stay, he/she must have a minimum of 11 credits per semester as specified in the Learning Agreement
- the student must enrol in at least 1 subject equivalent within his/her field of study in the year and semester of study and at least 50% of the subjects must be electrical engineering or ICT focus.

For study stays it is necessary to fill in the form "Study Abroad Application Form", in which the courses you have pre-selected at the foreign university and their equivalents at the FEKT are listed – bring to the selection procedure or attach to the e-application.
In your application, please indicate ideally more than one university of your choice where you can find the corresponding courses. A list of partner universities are available in the application in Studis.
Those interested in going abroad must pass an English language test, which will be provided by the Institute of Languages. Dates of the test:
Monday 13 January 2025, 1-2pm, room T10/325
Tuesday 14 January 2025, 5-6pm, room T10/325
Capacity for a specific time and date is limited to 20 students. Registration is required on the IS BUT Portal – "Events and Training"
English language tests are not obligatory for:
- graduates of the bachelor's study program "English in electrical engineering and informatics"
- students of the bachelor's study program "English for practice in electrical engineering and communication technologies" who have completed the course "Practical English 2" (BPC-PA2)
- students who can prove knowledge at level B2 with a certificate of the FCE international exam and above
- students of subsequent master's programs taught in English (MPA-xxx)

A reminder of the basic rules for traineeships (SMP) for LS 2024/25
- the traineeship must last at least 60 days, up to a maximum of 360 days, or until September 2025 (whichever comes first) – max. 3 months, more as a zero-grant student
- eligibility for the grant is only for the period of physical presence in the host country, mobility can also be done virtually from the home country without eligibility for the grant
- possibility of short-term physical mobility of PhD students (5-30 days) without the need to combine it with virtual mobility
- the student must be duly enrolled in studies at the BUT for the duration of the traineeship
- prior participation of the student in the programme at the degree level, in order not to exceed the possible duration of stays (max 360 days per degree level)
- the chosen traineeship location corresponds at least partially to the field of study
A reminder of the basic rules for study stays in AR 2025/2026
- the study must last at least 90 days, up to a maximum of 360 days, or until September 30, 2026 (whichever comes first).
- eligibility for the grant is only for the period of physical presence in the host country; mobility can also be done virtually from the home country without eligibility for the grant
- the student must be duly enrolled in studies at the BUT for the duration of the placement
- prior participation of the student in the programme at the degree level, in order to avoid any overrun of the possible duration of stays, including internships (max 360 days per degree level)
