Forgotten password
If you forgot your BUTpassword or password for logging into Windows/Active Directory, arrange a face-to-face appointment with one of the following employees who will set a new password for you:
The BUTpassword will be changed for the user only after proving the identity (verification that the password change requester is an authorized user of the account). The identity can be proved by a valid student ID card or another official document with the holder’s name and photo (ID card, driver’s license, passport). Under no circumstances can the password be communicated by telephone or email.
You can change the BUT pin (intended, for example, for logging into Eduroam or BUT VPN) on the Intraportal.
If you forgot the password to one of the systems operated by the department, contact the responsible person at the department, not the ISAD employers.
